No-Prep Veneers

No-Prep Veneers

We are proud to be a provider of no-prep veneers – a contemporary, yet conservative technique within cosmetic dentistry used to transform the aesthetics of the front teeth.

What are No-Prep Veneers?

No-prep veneers are used to assist patients to reach their aesthetic smile goals. Similar to conventional veneers, a customized ceramic veneer is crafted and applied to the facial surface (frontal surface) of the anterior teeth. This procedure is a low impact, minimally invasive process that yields high results.

Why choose No-Prep Veneers?

No-prep veneers differ from conventional veneers in that the removal of natural enamel is minimal and, in many cases, avoidable during this procedure. In addition to conserving maximum natural tooth structure, this minimal prep technique is well tolerated by patients and injection of anesthetics may not be required.

What can I expect regarding consultation and the planning process?

Our planning process with all cosmetic procedures relies upon achieving true understanding of what the patient wishes to achieve. Our staff is dedicated to helping you reach your smile goals! No-prep veneers may be used in tandem with other treatments such as teeth whitening and bonded white fillings of adjacent teeth, or they may be used as a standalone treatment dependent upon your specific goals and needs. The treatment plan of each patient is as unique as his or her smile and our doctors are happy to assess your dental health to see if no-prep veneers are a good fit for achieving your goals.

What is the expected process and timeline?

Depending upon treatment plan specifics, you can expect to have full results within two to three visits. During your first visit, an impression will be made which allows a specialized veneer to be crafted by a dental lab technician. After we have received and performed a quality assessment of your new custom veneer, we will integrate it painlessly by applying an adhesive to your tooth and curing it with a light.

After your veneers have been bonded, you will be able to immediately and fully appreciate the results of your new smile. This minimally invasive procedure requires no down time; however, we request a follow up appointment to ensure total patient satisfaction. If any adjustments are required, we are thrilled to offer additional minimally invasive tools such as air abrasion, dental lasers, and other advanced diagnostic technology to address any request.
